Across six years at AKQA I worked on a wide range of Nike brands and projects as Technical Lead, Manager and Architect.
- Ran two London teams simultaneously on Nike Football and Nike Women campaign work, interfacing directly with Nike Portland on technical and product requirements.
- Delivered campaign platforms tied to product launches, working to fixed external launch dates with no room for slippage.
- Worked across Nike Running and Nike Women initiatives including Nike Fuel wristbands, Nike+ Run Club and Nike Training Club.
- Built in-store applications deployed to the Nike Oxford Street store.
- Represented AKQA and Nike at Facebook's Menlo Park office for the Shipyard initiative.
Running two client teams at once taught me how to hold context across parallel workstreams, which turned out to be most of the job in every leadership role since.
