Technical architect on the rebuild of Formula1.com, launched to coincide with the 2015 season.

• Architected the site's front end on Adobe AEM, building and integrating components including the live race tracker and media galleries.
• Solved for race weekend traffic: near-zero baseline between races, then enormous concentrated spikes across a three-day window. Caching strategy and scaling were the entire problem.
• Worked within AEM's constraints to deliver dynamic, real-time content on a platform built primarily for static publishing.
• Supported the launch of F1TV, allowing fans to watch races live on the site for the first time.

The relaunch was well received by critics and fans. The traffic profile, quiet for days then everything at once, is the same problem I would be solving a decade later on live football.
