I have worked with Barclays twice in my career.

• Built a flexible benefits platform end to end for their You at Work venture in Canary Wharf, letting employees select benefits and salary sacrifice options. I owned the whole stack: front end, the JavaScript and AJAX layer, and the .NET C# backend.
• Produced client-specific themes matching each corporate style, and a large set of dynamic SQL reports used across other departments.
• Returned with AKQA to lead the rebuild of Barclays' Help and Support systems in Adobe AEM.

My first commercial role, and the first time I owned something from database to interface. It's a useful thing to have done before spending twenty years directing people who do it.
