On the week before Halloween, Amy's brother Marcus phoned us up and asked if we would like to go to a Fright at Night event with him and his girlfriend. We were a little reluctant at first, due to not really knowing what a Fright at Night event was, but we decided to tag along anyway. And we had a really good time.
Set on a farm in Crawley, the Fright at Night event is basically there to try and scare you using several different attractions.

The tractor ride took you around the farm with various timed frights ready to scare. Most of the were mechanical, but there were the occasional people who would run out of the woods, or drop from the ceiling and sometimes jump on to the tractor for full effect.

The field of screams was a corn field maze which you have to navigate in the darkness. At select moments, either animatronics or actors would move or jump out to frighten you. There were also large containers throughout the field, each with a different kind of fright inside. Most of them were pitch black, either blowing air in your face, or having speakers ready to scare you. Some of them were different horror scenes with actors ready to pounce on you. The container with the strobe lighting and the blood covered man with the chainsaw running at you was particularly scary.

The final attraction was the creepy house - a lot like a crooked house, but with actors running about scaring people.

Despite being a bit muddy, it was an awesome night and a one of a kind experience! I'd definetly recommend checking it out at Tulley's Farm next year!
