On Tuesday last week Dave and I went to the Great British Beer Festival 2007 at Earls Court.

We were sort of hoping it would be similar to the Ice Cream festival [J-668], where everything was free once you got in. Sadly, this wasn't the case.

After the £8 entry fee and £3 glass, we discovered beers at London prices (ie: not cheap). Still we weren't too disappointed with a taster for all the beers still available for free and the possibility of getting thirds for 80p to £1 which allowed us to try many different beers.

Despite the cost, it was still good fun and we did get to try a nice assortment of beers and ciders - not that I can really remember any of their names! We came away pretty merry so it must have been a successful night out!
